Fashion Show Review

Couture Season is also for Designers a time to inspire the Brides to be.

Here are my favorite White Silhouettes from the Spring Summer 18 Shows.

Pure lines, delicate transparencies, some frills for the romantic ones.

My favorite looks of Couture Spring Summer 18 have a feeling of Mystery.

Flower embroideries and laces, peacock feathers ornaments, drapés and bouillonés draw the scenery of a fantasy bal.
The fresh and young beauty looks are those of the modern cool woman, far from any tiresomely stereotyped princess route.

Valentino is definitely my favorite collection of the season, inspired by Deborah Turbeville's and Cecil Beaton's photographies ( I m a fan of their work! ).
I loved every single look of the show, inspirations and references from the past and silhouettes cleverly imagined for today.

Dior was also splendid. The very elegant looks were an ode to feminity, Surrealism as a pattern to deepen Maria Grazia Chiuri's vision of Feminism.
I loved the delicate eye masks, created by the great Stephen Jones.

Ellery successfully transposed its aesthetic to Couture wear, the theme of the show was Women of the Future, inspired by 20th century female scientists who made major discoveries.
Very pretty collection that I wish would have been a little more audacious, considering the inspiration.

Last but not least, Alexandre Vauthier showed also some very cool looks. Classic couture with a 80's night club vibe, I like that!

Beautiful silhouettes are also to be seen at Givenchy and Ellery, Schiaparelli, Maison Rabih Kayrouz and Christophe Josse.
